Telangana launches India's First BFSI Minor Degree Program

We are excited to announce the launch of the BFSI Minor Degree Program for the State of Telangana, which is presumably the first of its kind in India.

It is a privilege to have the inauguration conducted by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Telangana, Shri A. Revanth Reddy, on September 25, 2024, who ardently endorsed the need for skill-to-employability initiatives and applauded Telangana for being the first state to adopt this model.

As we enter the next phase, we are excited to announce the next steps for which we are working closely with Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE).

  • A total of 41 colleges have been selected.
  • Communications have been sent to the selected colleges.

Classes for the BFSI curriculum will commence in January 2025, providing students with ample time to complete semester exams and allowing for a comprehensive onboarding, assessment, and selection process.

We are enthusiastic about this initiative and its potential impact on students' futures!

A special recognition to our Social Impact Partner, EQUIPPP, for making this initiative possible.
